Hello friends I am back with another new topic for new learners today i am going to talk about WEB DEVELOPMENT a lot of topics are going to cover in this topic which are as follows:

So first question arises in our mind i.e; What is a domain name ?

So guys basically if you want to make a new website so first thing you have to do is to buy its name form many websites.

first of all we have to understand why .com, .in, .net, .org are different so guys this happens because the web is working form 90's  so there are possibilities that people have already registered many names already and the website name you want to purchase you have to search and we have to check that the name for which we are searching is available or not it means the name which we are searching should be unique if someone have already taken the name we cannot buy it.

for example:https://www.google.com/

we cannot buy the above name because it is already registered so we can but https://www.google.in/

or we can buy https://www.google.org/ etc.

so basically i am telling you that you cannot buy an already registered name.

so we can say there are a lot of variants from which we can choose and buy and .com is considered as top level domain you will see mostly websites are in the form of .com as it is international level domain but there are also some country level domains like ; .in, .tk, .uk etc

and only a country registered people can buy it like ; only an Indian user can buy .in user from outside the county cannot buy it.

Name also helps in SEO( Search engine optimization) but friends if you are making the website for the first time and you are willing to work longer with this then you can go for the .com .

.org is for the organisations like if a company is willing to make its website then it can buy its domain name like XYZ.org/  it is not mandatory that you can buy .org only if you have any organisation you can also buy it without any organisation.

people generally buys .net and .org because they did not get the name on the .com and someone have already have registered with the same name in .com  

they all are the domains they work same but they have different .extensions but the top level domain is only .com

So guys first question is solved above and now i am going to show you how to and from where you can buy domains.

Steps to buy Domains:

1.  we have to write: https://www.google.com/
2. the it show a lot of results like this:

https://in.godaddy.com/domains this link is of godaddy from where you can buy domains we can also buy the domains form other sites like;

1. Bigrock : https://www.bigrock.in/domain-registration/
2. you can also buy domain from google also;  https://domains.google/#/
3. hostgator       :https://www.hostgator.in/domain-registration

I am going to show you how to buy domains form https://in.godaddy.com/domains

3. we have to open the websitehttps://in.godaddy.com/domains

then you can see the interface like this:

4. we have to search the name for which we want to buy a domain like this:

then it will show you a lot of different extensions like this

5. now you have to add the domain in the cart and then we have to go into the cart and then you can see that website is asking to  buy the hosting also from them but you can remove the tag and then move to continue with these options an then click on this " continue with these options" 

now you can see the payment gateway with these details;

here you can see the payment details and how much much you have to pay

we cannot directly pay we have to make account in these websites and then we can proceed to pay and then a new tab will be open then we have to pay by filling our card details and and then they will send a confirmation main that thank you for purchase and the domain is now registered with my name and no one can buy it .
